The Annual Kathy Durkin Golf Classic takes place on on Monday 19th August 2024 at the PGA National Slieve Russell Hotel Golf & Country Club in Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan. The event this year will celebrate the tournament’s 32nd year, which has been held annually since 1992. It is one of the longest running events of its’ kind in the country.
Since its inception, the Kathy Durkin Golf Classic has raised almost €1,000,000 for charities both locally and nationally including Special Olympics, Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin, CAPS – Autism, Cystic Fibrosis, MIRT – Cancer Research and many more.
This year’s beneficiary is St. Christopher’s Hospice, Cavan & Monaghan:

On behalf of all of us at St Christopher’s we wish to thank Kathy for her continuing support. This celebration promises to be an event to remember – Golf in a stunning setting involving participation by some of Ireland’s most popular and diverse sports personalities and entertainers. All of the participants will be bound by one common aim – to raise much needed funds for a very worthy recipient.
