Condor Team goes ‘OFF THE GRID – LONE SURVIVOR’

On Friday evening 8th November, John Magee (The Condor Team) plans to inhabit an island in the Lough Oughter area of North Cavan until Sunday 10th November, as part of a fundraiser in aid of St Christopher’s Hospice, Cavan & Monaghan. The following weekend Sean O’Flaherty will be inhabiting the same island from Friday 15th until Sunday 17th November with just basic equipment.

Their task is to stay on an island, selected by Cavan Adventure Centre. They will have no idea of its exact location. During their stay they will be without any form of communication, including mobile phones, timekeeping devices, no tents and just rely on improvised shelter to live ‘OFF THE GRID’.

The Adventure Centre staff will bring the ‘Condor Team’ to the island and collect them on completion. Best of luck boys!
