On Friday evening, 3rd November at 5pm, John Magee, Brian McCormack, Philip McDonald & Michael Wall (The Condor Team) plan to inhabit an island in the Lough Oughter area of North Cavan until 8am on Sunday 5th November, as part of a fundraiser in aid of St Christopher’s Hospice, Cavan.
Their task is to stay on an island, selected by Cavan Adventure Centre. They will have no idea of its exact location. During their stay they will be without any form of communication, including mobile phones, timekeeping devices, no tents and just rely on improvised shelter to live ‘OFF THE GRID’.
The Adventure Centre staff will bring the ‘Condor Team’ to the island and collect them on completion. Best of luck boys!
