We were delighted to welcome Leona Maguire to St. Christopher’s Hospice recently, on Thursday 17th July 2025.
The Ballyconnell native, and Irish professional golfer, is the proud patron of St. Christopher’s Hospice. It was the first time she was on-site to see the new and exciting plans for our building project.
She is pictured below with some members of our hard working committee including; Jim Lalor (Chairman), Maura Dunne (Secretary), Howard McCollum, Paddy Grogan & Ciaran Weir. Also photographed are the main contractors; the McCabe Group.
St. Christopher’s Hospice was established nearly 40 years ago to provide and maintain residential nursing and convalescent beds and day care for the end of life care of persons (without regard to race, creed or means) who are suffering from any late stage chronic or terminal illness in Cavan and Monaghan.
